This program aims to explore the case for government intervention in the economy. Provide an overview of a variety of applied microeconomics topics used in public policy, as well as pertinent historical and international experience. Discuss the significance of economics in the political process and provide an overview of economic policy evaluation. It will include certain interdisciplinary components, such as political economy and behavioural economics.
This course will enable participants to:
